Fitness For Africa has been providing Education Sponsorships to orphans and vulnerable students in Uganda since 2011.  Our sponsorships provide students with an education, scholastic materials, a school uniform, sporting clothes and a daily meal at school for a full year. On top of all of this, we also offer counseling sessions for the families to help us engage with each parent to discuss the progress of their child within their class.  As a unique feature of providing an Education Sponsorship, you will receive email communications each term sharing how your child is doing in school and to learn how their family is improving their life. We encourage each sponsor to send photos of their families and to write a letter each term to build a relationship with your sponsored child!

Through these Education Sponsorships, we are able to provide education for students attending Pearl of Hope Nursery and Primary School located in Lela Obaro. Since opening our doors, Fitness for Africa has been able to provide Education Sponsorships for 5 years and helped dozens of students through their educational journey.

In the past, we helped students at Victory Nursery and Primary School and Maya Progressive Nursery and Primary School and bettered the lives of over 26 children at the schools. During that time, Victory Nursery and Primary School grew from an enrollment of 86 students to more than 160 students over a two-year time frame based on the trust and success of our Education Sponsorships.

Our Education Sponsorship is one of our most cherished projects at Fitness for Africa. Every year we continue to grow and are able to help more children in the village. It is of utmost importance to provide these children the education they need and give them the opportunity to become the leaders we know they can be. After their days of studying, Pearl of Hope gives them a place to escape and partake in fun after school activities.
